YAZ Design Store

This small but historically important building welcomes you with an engraving “1910 IYOA” 1910 July. Restoration of the building has been conducted by Rem Mimarlık – Zeynep Esengil. Our main approach was to create a visual organisation by making two storey use of this total volume by making geometric interventions. Also by the use of vibrant colours inside, historical and new parts of the building separated and the original jack arch roof is emphasised.

Yaz Store is a total work of design in terms of its harmonious interior architecture and graphics. The shop hosting works of many designers and its logo was inspired by Aslı Kuriş’s wonderful tree branches whose works can also be seen at Yaz.
